Vesuvius Media's releases in December!

Since Vesuvius Media will be making Dwar7s and Pacific Trails Inc. available for purchase very soon, we thought you might be interested to know more about these two wonderful games.

Dwar7s Fall

IMG_5338Dwar7s Fall is an award-winning worker placement game for 2 to 4 players. It’s easy to start playing but it has a lot of potential to build up on the mechanics. We guarantee that the more time you will play the more ways you will find to mess with your opponents’ game. Overall, it has great replay-ability.

Cute but mean….

The graphic design from Luis Brüeh is quite enticing and the game’s characters are very endearing (no seriously, look it up!)

Okay, okay, the characters are cute but as soon as you start going deeper into the game, let me tell you, it packs a punch!

A mere 10 minutes are needed to explain the game and you’re getting 30 to 45 minutes of a great time out of it. It is absolutely ideal for game nights with friends and/or family.

Last but not least, players as young as 7-years-old can play because there’s no writing on the cards.

And that’s how you lure (young and old) people into the dark side of board gaming!

To sum up, it’s amazing value for money, guaranteed fun times and great for board games beginners and experts!

Pacific Rails Inc.

IMG_9463The second game we are (impatiently) expecting from Vesuvius Media is Pacific Rails Inc. It’s another worker placement game set to the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad where you get to play as the President of your own Railway Company.

The art in this game is equally fantastic as some of Vesuvius Media’s games. It is illustrated by Damien Mammoliti and is breathtaking. The graphics take you back over a century and a half ago and the race to complete the railroad is on!

The game’s mechanics are an awesome combination of route building, engine building and worker placement. The variety of the mechanics also increases the game’s replay-ability.

Overall, the material is of amazing quality and all of the plastic components are extremely detailed. It is very fun to unbox and quite satisfying to manipulate.

The game is of about medium complexity and will last on average an hour. It’s great for game night with intermediate to expert players stepping into the more complex train games.
